7 Ways To Create Article Titles? Secrets For Stunning Traffic

Many of us repeat certain article marketing rituals. We write articles, submit them to high ranking sites, and wait for the magic to happen. Many times, we forget that there is more to article marketing than writing articles in your niche, and submitting them to different high pr sites. We tweak our marketing plans for success, but how much time do we spend on our articles themselves. Different aspects of the article? An article itself has a large indirect influence on the outcome of a successful article marketing plan.

What We Must Do!?
There are many different aspects of an article needed to be optimized in order for one to reach its maximum traffic generating potential. The higher traffic to your articles, the higher traffic to your website or product. So what’s the first part of an article you should focus on? The title!

The title of your article is one of the most important parts. If your content is amazing and your title is lame, who will ever get to the ever so marvelous content. You need an “eye-grabbing” article title to increase potential viewers. There are certain techniques article masters use to generate eye catching article titles. The following are a few:

A) A Title With A “Benefit”

Create a title that will help communicate some sort of benefit to your viewers. If people see something that will help them with a certain need, it is most likely they will click your link!

B) Create Controversy

Use an article title that can create some sort of debate. Anything that will be likely to give viewers a strong opinion one way or another.

C) Ask A Question

When you write a title with a question, that will strike people’s attention real quick. They will have the urge to either respond to the title or see what others’ have had to say. This is a good idea to grab many people’s attention and to get some conversation going.

D) Use “YOU”

If you use the word you in your post, it will give people a special personal feel. The word you gives the addressee a feeling the post is targeted to their own specific situation.
”10 Ways YOU Can Increase Traffic 5 Fold,” for example.

E) Use Keywords

Using keywords in your titles is attention grabbing. Especially when those keywords appear multiple times in your content. When people read your post, those same keywords will appear to the viewer like a flashlight. It will definitely grab the attention of your reader and thrust them into the content of your article.

When you use keywords, this will help search engine rankings. The keywords will help Google determine your article topic and place it in the search engines. Tags also play a role in the search engines. Make your tags your keywords to rank high for those specific keywords.

A tip for keyword placement would be to try and include the keyword of your title in the first line of your article, and also one in the end.

F) Powerful Words

Some words are extremely powerful compared to other keywords in grabbing people’s attention.

-Free – When someone sees the word free it gives people an urge to find out more.

-Easy Or Quick – These two words are words that we all love. Who doesn’t want to learn something quick and easy?

-Secrets – This evokes a response of curiosity. People always want to learn more, especially when they think they don’t know something amazing perhaps?

-Discover – Discover is an interesting word. People always want to learn more and this word will entice them to your article.

G) Humor?

A humorous title can be effective in grabbing a lot of viewers to your article. Just make sure to include some keywords in your article for the search engines.

These are a few helpful hints on how you can drive more traffic to your articles, and eventually to your website, just by optimizing the title of you article. Hope to post more useful hints later.

Some Search Engine Optimization Techniques

Here are some Search Engine Optimization advices for beginners i can say.

First of all i am in this field for over 3 years. I can say that i don't like the time spent and that's why i hired someone. But before that here is what i have manage to learn:

1. Link Directories - Good only for Page Ranking (google case)
Example: I paid about 300$ for links on many directories, on PR3-5 pages. All good. When google crawled some of them the Page Ranking went to 1 or 2.
Conclusion - Don't waist your time too much and especially the money on those.

2. Social Bookmarking - 100 digs for some pages
Example: I had a Web 2.0 Design Tutorial website hosting and got about 100 digs for some articles, technorati, del.icio.us and so on.
When checking backlinks digg.com showed only 5 of them.
Conclusion - Pretty good but make sure your article is 110% original.

3. Article Submission - 20 articles on "famous" article directories
Example: As i was writing the tutorials i thought "let's publish them".
Backlinks - very few after so much work

4. Link Exchange website hostings - Paid about 50$/monthly for 3 link exchange website hostings.
Example: I added my website hosting to this website hostings and received about 400 links every month. I added a link exchange script with the "nofollow" attribute ON. I even added the disallow rule in .htaccess. All good so far.
After 3 months i got about 10 emails from different people asking me to remove their links because their sites were banned from Google.
Conclusion: Don't do this kind of link exchange.REALLY DON'T. Your link will end on a 100 link page which of course will end to banning from Google and who knows others too.

5. Paid Traffic - About 50$/monthly for as they said " 3000 unique visitors"
Example - Because i did not had the time to surf other website hostings i paid for this services.
Conclusion: Google Analytics was telling me that from 3000 visitors/monthly i got only 200 from that site.
Alexa was the only one who showed that i had heavy traffic. But if you don't pay for 1 month the Alexa rank will go down too. Don't waist your time with this.

Now for the good things.

Don't know if i am allowed to say which software i used to Search Engine Optimization my website hostings but if an admin or moderator tells me i can..i will of course mention it's name. The license costs between 250$-450$ depending on your needs.
Believe me it's really unbelievable and you learn a lot of things from it.

1. Always or at least monthly change your website hosting keywords positioning
2. Put h1-h4 tags on your website hosting
3. Bold or underline your keywords and again change things on a regularly basis
4. For script users make your URLS search engine friendly
5. Try and write articles directly on your web site hosting and add a social bookmarking script for people to bookmark
6. If you do link exchange make sure the website hosting topic is similar to yours and check their page source for the "nofollow" attribute. If it's there delete their link.
7. Create a google and yahoo sitemap and submit it.
8. Changing or adding Content regularly of your website hosting is NO2.Search Engine Optimization RULE
9. the NO.1 Search Engine Optimization rule is to have patience. Really it is.

I just launched a template store and i can say that it's on top google and yahoo for 10 keywords from about 35 mil pages. And i did not even submit it to digg or had a link exchange with anybody..so far
There are plenty of other methods but these are the start ones.

If you find this useful please rate it.Thanks

How important is Meta Title Tag?

The Title-tag is one of the most important pieces of information for a search engine. The Title-tag should describe exactly what the web page contains. It should contain keywords, but not repeats, of terms you hope to be found for. It should also be as readable as possible. The Title-tag will be the first thing someone sees in a search result.

The Title-tag should be no longer than 70 characters and should contain words and phrases that accurately describe the content of a page. Try to make the Title-tags located throughout your site unique and relevant. Every word in the Title should be contained somewhere on the page they are used for. Research has also shown that a strong call to action will usually produce more clicks than a basic description.

The META-tag is used to store information about a web page but is not actually displayed in a web browser. For example, META-tags provide information such as what application was used to create the page, a description of the page, and keywords that are relevant to the page. Many search engines use the information stored in META-tags when they index web pages.

As I stated earlier, META-tag information is not displayed in a web browser. However, if you view the source code of any web page you will see the HTML code behind that page. To see the code, simply go to any website using Internet Explorer and click "view" then "source."

How much important is to have robots.txt file?

Robots.txt is a text (not html) file you put on your site to tell search robots which pages you would like them not to visit. Robots.txt is by no means mandatory for search engines but generally search engines obey what they are asked not to do. It is important to clarify that robots.txt is not a way from preventing search engines from crawling your site (i.e. it is not a firewall, or a kind of password protection) and the fact that you put a robots.txt file is something like putting a note “Please, do not enter” on an unlocked door – e.g. you cannot prevent thieves from coming in but the good guys will not open to door and enter.

Five Simple Steps to Getting Links to Your Site

Five Simple Steps to Getting Links to Your Site.
Step 1 - Determine the type of sites you want to trade links with. Focus on sites that are related to your site's market, don't go after sites that are not related, it won't help your ranking that much. To locate link partners search with your main search phrases in the search engines. Example, if your site is about cars, you could search with phrases such as car repair, tires, etc. The sites you see on the first few web pages of the search results should be your main targets. Remember to stay away from direct competitors.

Maybe the best way to Locate quality link partners is by visiting the Yahoo's directory or ODP because all these web sites were reviewed by humans before being listed. If you decide to use a directory visit the category that's most related to your web site, if your web site's subject is popular enough you should find more then one category that's related to your web site.

Step 2 - Review each web site you found carefully, check to see if they are using spam, if they are using spam, stay away, this will only hurt your web site in the long run. Remember to aim for the big money and not a quick dollar. Look to see If they have a links or some call it a resource page. If they don't have a links page, you should most likely move on and forget about it.

You should also review their content and resources they provide. Would their content or resources be useful for your visitors? Do you feel that it's a good resource? Is it a web site that you feel good about recommending?

Step 3 - After reviewing the web sites, you'll need to gather information about them. First, find out the owner of the web sites name. Sometimes the owner with list his or her name on the site, usually located on the about us page. Otherwise, you can get their name is by doing a WHOIS search. There are several available you can use, just search with the phrase WHOIS lookup.

Find out their email address. Remember to get the right one, you don't want to contact them through their support email address, instead search for their marketing or partnership email. Also find something on their web site that is unique and useful, this could be an article, an online tool or a service, use this to compliment them.

Step 4 - Create a list of all the web sites you have found related to your web site. You can list these web sites however you prefer. Personally I always rank them based on their link popularity, ranking and Page Rank. This allows you to have a good idea which ones you should target first. If your web site is new you should go after the web sites that don't have the highest link popularity or Page Rank.

Step 5 - Finally, we are nearly done. It's time to put all the information you have gathered into action. Send a custom e-mail to each site requesting to exchange links. Remember not to use generic e-mail link exchange request, half of the time these are deleted without ever being truly considered. State the webmaster's name, this will show that you have at least looked at the web site.
